J.Ron Eaker, M.D.  Medical Director

Dr. Eaker is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1988 where he served as  Chief Resident.


Dr. Eaker is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a clinical advisor to the American Running and Fitness Association.  He is a member of the American Bariatric Society and the Obesity Medical Association a national group of physicians with education and interest in weight management. 


Dr. Eaker is the author of “Holy Hormones”, Approaching PMS and Menopause God’s Way,  “Healthy Habits for a Fit Family” from Bethany House Publishers: a guide to fitness in mind, body , and spirit, and most recently “A Woman’s Guide To Hormone Health”, a book on everything menopause.  


Dr. Eaker has appeared on numerous national TV and radio shows such as Life Today with James Robison, Moody radio, and Janet Parshall’s America discussing women’s health and family fitness.


When he is not playing with the kids, working, speaking, sleeping, or eating….he is running, having completed sixty five marathons/half marathons on three continents including Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Rome, and five Boston Marathons.

Susan Eaker I Weight Management

Susan Eaker, R,N., M.Ed  Program Coordinator

Susan obtained her nursing degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1980. In 1993 she obtained her masters in counseling.  


Susan has been a lifelong athlete, having completed over 15 half marathons and numerous other races.  

Susan brings a unique perspective to her role as program director of Women's Wellness Weight Management as both a medical professional and as a “regular person” with all the same challenges of her clients.  This gives her insight, empathy, and the ability to motivate and encourage.


Her greatest achievements; however, have been as a mother and wife. She has two beautiful daughters and has tolerated her husband ,Ron, for a quarter of a century.

Stephanie Kolb I Weight Management

Stephanie Kolb

Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from San Jose State University.  She has worked as a nutritionist and health coach since 2007 in a variety of settings.


She has a special expertise in weight management and the control of diabetes with nutrition and exercise.  She has developed a curriculum for weight loss and taught in various medical practices and corporate settings.
