What has Women’s Wellness Weight Management Meant to Me?

 

I cannot possibly answer this question in one or two sentences.  I feel compelled to try to do this question justice.

 

My mom was a nurse, who preached “good nutrition” my whole life. I have been an avid runner and get lots of exercise. I am an educated woman. Despite this, I have battled with my weight my entire life. I was constantly depriving myself of food I enjoyed and was unable to lose weight. In fact, after injuring my knee, I was at my all-time high.

 

My weight gain and how horrible I felt became a constant, all consuming cloud over my life; it was never out of my mind. I was in misery.  My husband gave me the Women’s Wellness weight program for a Christmas present. Many women would have been insulted. I was elated.

 

WWWM as literally changed my entire outlook on life! No longer do I obsess in misery over my weight and appearance.  I feel amazingly healthy. I love the way clothes feel and look on me.

 

More than anything, I am amazed at how successful I am on this program. I have retrained myself to think differently about food. I am super careful about portion control. I eat small, healthy snacks throughout the day, so I don’t ever feel ravenous. My go to snacks are now snap peas, carrots, and cheese sticks instead of 2 cups of almonds, 3 bananas, or a large avocado! At times, if I really want something that is decadent, I will eat a small amount. But I know if I just get back to eating the way I should, I will be fine, and not feel deprived.

 

WWWM has helped me retrain my brain, and given me a healthy lifestyle, body, and mind! (ok, if I had to put it in a sentence, there it is.)

 

I so appreciate the dedication and attention you all have given me to encourage my success.  Besides that, I have gotten to really know and appreciate Melinda, who I think is an amazing, genuine, sincere person. You have a fantastic program that works. Priceless.
